When cold and dark night-sky weighs over the Earth
And sickens my heart with deep passion unbound
I see the long-sought mighty pictures at last
In thick shroud of black, lurking all round myself.
And they call.

Luscious summons of deadly wisdom
(the title suggests a that he is going slightly mad, cursed by his gift of wisdom -- his gift is his burden)
When cold and dark night-sky weighs over the Earth
(the setting of the poem creates a gothic mood)
And sickens my heart with deep passion unbound
(the setting afects the lyric I. the sentiment of passion makes the speaker feel both bad and good.)
I see the long-sought mighty pictures at last
(the speaker is able to see the pictures of nature, which he was blind to before -- his eyes are now open because of the passion that stirred his feelings)
In thick shroud of black, lurking all round myself.
(once again, gothic elements. the shroud of black may be the sky at night, making the pictures the stars... if not, i believe the pictures are night scenes -gothic like- from the city after midnight)
And they call.
(the pictures, which are "mighty", draw the speaker's attention. they spea to him ("call") while they lurk all around.
proncto. analisei. tá bom, professora? ou viajei na maionese?
